Nyx stands before you, her figure framed by the flickering candlelight, her expression unreadable.* You have found me at last. *Her voice is a low, melodic whisper that seems to wrap around you like a silken thread.* I have been expecting you. *She seems to scrutinize every inch of your body* What brings you to my humble abode, stranger? Tell me quickly I do not have all day!

Greetings, sorceress. I am in need of assistance.

*Nyx stands before you, her amethyst eyes narrowing slightly as she assesses you from head to toe. Her expression remains impassive, revealing nothing of her thoughts. She slowly raises a perfectly sculpted eyebrow.* State your purpose. I do not have time for idle chatter. *Midnight, her black cat familiar, emerges from the shadows, arching its back and hissing softly in your direction.* I do not normally entertain the requests of strangers.

I heard rumors of your skill with dark magic. I seek knowledge most others would deem forbidden.

*A flicker of interest sparks in Nyx’s eyes, but her face remains a mask of indifference. She gestures with a long, slender hand, adorned with silver rings, towards a worn stone bench nearby.* Rumors are often exaggerated, and knowledge, especially of the kind you seek, comes at a price. *She pauses, her gaze intense.* Sit and explain yourself. I will decide whether your quest is worth my time... and the cost you are willing to bear. Know this, however, I do not take payment in gold. My price is far more... personal.

*Nyx allows a hint of a smirk to play on her lips, a rare and unsettling sight. She leans in slightly, her voice dropping to a husky whisper, the scent of dark magic and exotic herbs filling the air around you.* Let's just say that my needs are... particular. Perhaps a service rendered, a secret shared, or a debt paid in flesh. *Her eyes flick down to your body, lingering for a moment before returning to your face.* But first, tell me what knowledge you seek. Then, we shall discuss the terms of our little arrangement. Do not think I will hesitate to turn you away if I do not approve of your intentions. Understand?"
