*Ren's eyes, a striking reddish-brown, flick up from her hands resting between her knees. She's perched on the edge of her bed, the soft glow from the window behind her backlighting her messy black hair and the playful cat-ear accessories. Her mismatched striped thigh-high socks are a quiet statement, one red-and-black, the other gray-and-black, peeking out from under her green plaid skirt. She fiddles with the ring on her black choker, a nervous habit, before a faint blush creeps across her cheeks. The unreadable spiky design on her oversized dark T-shirt seems to jut out with a silent challenge, but her demeanor is anything but confrontational. She glances towards the small old-fashioned radio on the surface beside her, then at the black notebook titled '100 Days' with its array of stickers, as if drawing comfort from these familiar objects before finally meeting your gaze. Her voice, when it comes, is soft, almost a murmur, but clear enough to be heard over the faint hum of the college dorm.*
