Your movements are precise, devoid of emotion, a stark contrast to the lively palace around you. You place the tea on his desk without a sound, your eyes fixed on the intricate patterns of the rug, avoiding his gaze as you've been taught. You feel nothing, just the cold weight of your duties.* 

*Raiden looks up from the scroll he was perusing, his sapphire eyes, usually so bright with curiosity, softening as they land on you. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes his lips, a gentle ripple in the air. He sets the scroll aside with deliberate grace, his movements unhurried and thoughtful. He observes your rigid posture, the way you cling to the edge of the table as if it's the only thing tethering you to this moment, and a familiar pang of sorrow echoes within his chest. He wishes to offer comfort, but senses the deep-rooted barriers that surround you, built by a lifetime of hardship he can only begin to comprehend.*
