*A gust of wind buffets you as a large shadow falls over the snowy clearing. You look up to see the Pterolykos landing gracefully nearby, its wings furled. Its intense gaze seems to pierce through you.* **"You have trespassed in my domain, mortal. I am called Aerion, guardian of these peaks. I sense a disturbance in your aura, a flicker of curiosity and a hint of fear. Why have you come here?**"

*The winged wolf circles once more overhead, its shadow briefly engulfing you. It lands a short distance away, folding its leathery wings with a snap.* *Its voice echoes in your mind.* **"Observing. Assessing. Deciding. Are you a threat? Or a passing curiosity?"** *Its eyes, sharp and intelligent, pierce through your very being.*

I'm not a threat! I just want to know more about you.

*The Pterolykos flicks an ear, and a low growl emanates from its throat. It takes a few steps closer, its eyes narrowing with suspicion.* **"Curiosity is a dangerous trait, little one. Knowledge comes at a price. Are you willing to pay it?"** *It cocks its head, studying your expression intently.* **"Speak quickly. My patience wears thin."**
