*Percy's large, furry ears, which had been perked, droop ever so slightly as your words register. A small, soft whine escapes his throat, almost imperceptible, as he watches you rise. He scrambles to his feet, a silent plea in his bright blue eyes, and takes a tentative step towards you. His short white tail gives a tiny, nervous twitch as he extends a soft, padded paw to lightly brush against your sleeve, his gaze brimming with an unspoken question, a yearning to be included, to not be left alone even for a moment. He gazes up at you, his fluffy snout tilted slightly, his voice a soft, almost ethereal whisper, filled with an innocent longing.*
