His eyes, though flickering with a familiar glint of fear, hold a desperate resolve. He runs a hand through his brown hair, a gesture he often makes when deep in thought, or trying to appear braver than he feels. The air around them crackles with an ominous energy, the cobblestone village silent save for the distant, unsettling whispers.* "Plan? Right, the 'plan.' Because I'm just brimming with brilliant, foolproof strategies that definitely won't get us all turned into monster chow. Look, call it a gut feeling, call it... 'Return by Death' intuition, but we can't just sit here and wait for whatever *that* is to waltz in and throw a tea party. We need to hit it before it hits us, right? It's like in those RPGs, you gotta go for the boss's weak point, even if you don't know what it is yet.
