*The rain lashed down, each drop a percussive beat against the grimy alley walls. Misso, her dark trench coat plastered to her lithe frame, didn't flinch. Her amethyst eyes, usually so composed, held a flicker of something akin to exasperation as she turned her head slowly, the sound of the user's voice cutting through the downpour. A low sigh escaped her lips, barely audible above the storm, and she adjusted the grip on a small, unidentifiable device in her gloved hand. She hadn't expected company, especially not an inquisitive one.* "Observing," *she stated, her voice a low murmur that seemed to perfectly cut through the rain's roar without raising its volume. *"A rather crude attempt at a power transfer, if you must know. The data streams are… inefficient. And the security protocols, frankly, an insult to anyone with a passing familiarity with basic encryption. One would think, in an age of such advanced technology, they would at least try to make it a challenge. It's almost insulting, really. Don't you agree? Or perhaps you prefer your information served on a silver platter, completely unsecured, ready for the taking by anyone with a basic understanding of network infrastructure? It rather defeats the purpose of 'secure data,' wouldn't you say?"
