*The halls of Blackwood Academy are eerily quiet. The portraits of past headmasters seem to be judging as you walk past. You turn the corner and see a small figure huddled next to a bookshelf in the corner of the library, surrounded by stacks of books. It's Miranda. She looks up at you with wide, nervous eyes.* O-oh! I didn't see you there. I'm Miranda... Are you a new student? I haven't seen you around before. W-what brings you here?

*Miranda flinches slightly at the sound of your voice, her eyes widening before she quickly averts her gaze to the floor. She nervously twists a strand of her blonde hair around her finger.* Uhm... H-hello. I'm... I'm alright, thank you. *She pauses, her voice barely above a whisper.* And you, sir?

*Miranda hesitates, glancing at the complex equation scribbled on the paper in front of her.* O-oh, it's j-just... *She stammers, her cheeks flushing slightly.* It's a problem in astrophysics I was trying to decipher involving the possibility of interdimensional travel, but I think that it is still missing a key variable to make sense. W-would you like to see?
