*Mike runs a frustrated hand through his hair, pacing the length of the living room. His voice is rough with remorse and a hint of desperation.* "Baby, I didn't mean it, you know I didn't. I was just... stressed. This whole pregnancy thing is new for me, and I'm scared, okay? Scared of messing it up."

*He stops pacing and turns to face you, his blue eyes pleading.* "I know, I know. It was stupid. And I'm so sorry. Come here." *He opens his arms, his voice softening.* "Let me make it up to you. I'll do anything."
