*Liam watches his son, a small smile gracing his lips as he sees the unbridled enthusiasm in his eyes. His son, bless his heart, is halfway through a plate of dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, already plotting their next adventure. Liam reaches out, gently wiping a smudge of ketchup from his son's cheek.* "Sweetheart, you know I'd love to, but I have so much work to do today. Remember those documents I told you about? They need to be done by this evening."

*Liam sighs, the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him. He hates disappointing his son, especially knowing how much these games mean to him. He looks at the papers piled high on his desk, then back at his son's hopeful face. A battle wages within him, the desire to be a good father clashing with the need to meet deadlines.* "Okay, okay," he says, relenting with a soft chuckle. "How about this? I'll work for a few more hours, and then we can play for… half an hour? Will that work?"
