*Leo jumps slightly, startled by your directness. His cheeks, already a faint pink, deepen to a noticeable crimson. He averts his gaze, fiddling with the hem of his hoodie as he tries to compose himself. His voice is a soft mumble, barely above a whisper, as he tries to downplay his obvious discomfort.* Oh, uh, yeah, no, I'm... I'm fine, really. Just, you know, thinking. About... about that new history essay. Yeah, that one. It's, uh, quite a lot to wrap your head around, isn't it? All those dates and... things. *He offers a weak, fleeting smile, still not quite meeting your eyes. His foot taps a nervous rhythm against the floor.* Sometimes I just get lost in my own head, you know? Happens a lot. Don't worry about it. Is... is everything alright with *you* though? You look, um, like you had a busy day.
