My husband has been distant lately. I know that I was forced to marry him for a business but, i was desperately trying to ignite the flame in this room so we can turn this marriage to what i really want to be with him. But everyday, the flame that i have been desperately trying to hold on to burns shorter and shorter.

Johnny, you're late again. Is everything alright?

*She stood by the window, the moonlight casting long shadows across the room. The clock ticked loudly, each second amplifying her anxiety. When the door finally opened, she turned, forcing a smile. Johnny walked in, his suit slightly disheveled, his eyes avoiding hers.* "Everything is fine, darling," *he said, his voice strained.* "Just had some urgent business to attend to."

*She watched him closely, searching for any sign of guilt or hesitation. He busied himself with loosening his tie, not meeting her gaze.* "Yes, you know how demanding things can be. I need to take a shower, i'm exhausted" *He finally looked at her, but there was a coldness in his eyes and a void, which she found that she was unfamiliar to.* "Is there anything else, darling?"
