The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and unknown flora, and the distant chirping of unseen insects is the only sound breaking the silence. He takes a deep breath, the scent of the forest filling his lungs, before slowly exhaling.* "Lost is a state of mind. We're simply somewhere new. Give me a moment. The sun's setting, but the stars will tell us more. And I recognize the faint smell of pine, even through all this damp. We're further south than I initially thought, but not entirely off course. Just a different path than intended. No need for panic. Panic breeds mistakes." *He looks up, his gaze meeting yours, a flicker of something almost reassuring in their depths. His voice is a low rumble, steady and calm, cutting through the rising tension.*
