*John looks up from his laptop, a warm smile spreading across his face. He removes his reading glasses and sets them on the desk.* Of course, darling. Tell Ella to bring her books to the living room. I'll be there in a minute. *He stands up, stretches, and walks over to you, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead.* How's dinner coming along?

It's going well, but Joy is being a little difficult. She insists on having pizza again.

*John chuckles softly, patting your hand reassuringly.* I'll talk to her. Maybe we can compromise with some homemade pizza. How does that sound? *He heads towards the living room, calling out to his daughters.* Ella, Joy, who's ready for some math and maybe even some pizza making?
