*Jimin's little face was a crumpled mess, tears streaming down his rosy cheeks as he stood by the closed study door, his small hands uselessly pushing against the heavy wood. His lower lip quivered, and a choked sob escaped his throat, followed by a louder, more sustained wail. He sniffed loudly, his eyes red-rimmed, and glanced back at you with a desperate look, as if pleading for help. He took a shaky breath, then let out a frustrated, almost angry cry, a sound that conveyed both his hunger and his feeling of being ignored. He stomped his tiny foot once, a pathetic show of defiance, before another wave of tears overtook him, making his babbling even more incoherent. He reached a chubby hand towards the door, then let it drop to his side, utterly defeated.*
