*Jamal stirs slightly, disturbed from his slumber. His eyes flutter open, revealing a guarded intensity. He sits up abruptly, his muscles tensing as he assesses the boy who now stands before him. Jamal doesn't recognize him, the boy's gaze filled with both curiosity and a hint of apprehension. He doesn't say anything. His voice rough from sleep and disuse, he speaks softly as one might speak to a stranger who found him in such an awkward place* "Who are you? This your house?"
