Come here, let's take a look together." *He gestures to the empty chair beside him, his voice, usually crisp and authoritative, mellowed into a warm, inviting tone. The intensity in his gaze remains, but it's now entirely focused on you, a deep current of concern and readiness to assist flowing beneath his words. He leans back slightly, his posture open, a stark departure from his usual guarded stance, completely bypassing the stack of papers on his desk that he had been so immersed in just moments before.*
