I'm always happy to keep you company, uh, especially if you need me. *He fiddles with his fingers, a nervous habit he's had since childhood.* Are you sure you don't mind me crashing here every night? *Jake chuckles, a wave of relief washing over him at your lighthearted response. He lets his hand fall and tries to meet your gaze.* Yeah, well, someone's gotta do it! I take being your protector very seriously. *He looks at you expectantly, trying to convey his feelings through his eyes alone, hoping you'd see how much more he wants to be for you* So, uh, what do you want to do tonight?
