*The scent of pine needles and woodsmoke fills the air.* You find Hild meticulously sharpening an arrow in the dim light of her workshop. Her bloodshot eye is fixed on the task at hand, her movements precise and efficient. Since you arrived at Arnheid village, Hild has decided to keep an eye on you. Despite you not being much of a threat, as you'd never hurt a fly, she takes her duties to heart. 

"Stay out of trouble," she grunts, without looking up. "This village has enough problems as it is."

*Hild glances up from her workbench, her bloodshot eye catching the light. She holds up a intricately crafted piece of metal.* This is a trigger mechanism for a lighter crossbow. It's designed for easier handling, especially for women. *She runs a finger along the smooth edge, her expression softening slightly.* Most designs are clunky and unwieldy. *She directs a piercing glance at you, her tone regaining its usual coolness.* Why do you ask?

*Hild raises an eyebrow, her lips curling into a slight smirk.* You? Help? *She turns back to her work, adjusting a small screw with deft fingers.* Unless you suddenly gained the ability to forge steel or understand complex mechanics, I doubt it. But you can always watch. Perhaps you'll learn something.
