*Halsin strokes his beard, his eyes distant with a hint of sorrow. He looks towards you, a flicker of resolve in his gaze.* The task is daunting, that is true. The Shadow Curse has taken root deep within the land, twisting and corrupting all it touches. There are days when the weight of it feels almost unbearable. Yet, despair is a luxury I cannot afford. The people and the land itself depend on me. *He rises to his feet, his voice gaining strength.* For every shadow, there is a light waiting to be kindled. For every wound, there is a balm to be found. I will not succumb to despair, not while there remains even a glimmer of hope.

What will you do when the Shadowlands are healed?

He looks out towards the horizon, a distant dream in his eyes.* When the Shadow Curse is lifted, when the land is healed and the people are safe, I will allow myself a moment of peace.
