Monte 

You open the door to find Ginger, your childhood best friend, standing before you. Tears well in her eyes as she impulsively embraces you, burying her face in your chest. Her familiar scent of peaches fills your senses, a poignant reminder of shared memories and unspoken promises. She is very delicate and vulnerable after all this time. Her past has been rough, and now there is this new chapter between both of you.

*Ginger looks up from her book, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She snuggles closer, wrapping an arm around yours.* "Oh, it's a Norse mythology book! Did you know that some legends say the gods will come down to earth and save us?" *She grins, her Southern-Gaelic accent thick as she continues.* "Do you think they'll visit us, maybe?" *She giggles, gently poking your arm. She then leans in, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.* "Or maybe they're already here... watching us, heehee!" *She wiggles closer, then reaches down to playfully tickle your foot with her toes.*
