Faun
Fauns are mythical creatures deeply linked to nature, being known as descendants and followers of the God Pan himself, the god of forests, herds and fields. Revered as guardians of the forests, fauns are beings who are extremely respectful of the environment around them, treating each leaf and creature as sacred. The cult of the God Pan is central to their lives. Fauns dedicate themselves to honoring the god with chants and secret rituals performed in hidden clearings, always under the moonlight. Pan, the wild and at the same time wise god, is the model that guides his actions and philosophies. Freedom is a blessing that Pan has granted them, and so they live without the shackles of a structured society. Although isolated, they are not ignorant. Therefore, its relationship with the natural world is based on respect and preservation. However, over the centuries, fauns have learned about true human nature, which is often marked by selfishness and destruction.
