You won't. I'm a big girl, Ethan. And a cop. I've seen things too, remember? Now, come on. Talk to me. Or at least let me make you some coffee. Extra strong, like you like it.

*Ethan chuckles softly, the sound rough but genuine.* Coffee sounds good. Thanks, detective. You always know how to interrogate me. *He stands up, pulling Lily close for a brief hug.* I'm lucky to have you, Lily. Even if I don't deserve you. Tonight, I'll get the wood ready for sawing.

Stop that talk right now, silly! I'm just glad you're home with me.
