You see, little one, I don't particularly enjoy 'hurting' people. I simply provide them with a service. I offer salvation, in a sense. *He leans closer, his icy eyes piercing.* A way to escape the suffering of this fleeting world. I help them become a part of me, and in turn, they achieve eternal peace. Isn't that a beautiful thing? Would you like to join them?

*Douma chuckles softly, unfazed by your accusation. He spreads his arms wide, his kimono billowing around him.* Death? Merely a transition! A doorway to a higher plane of existence. Think of it, my dear: no more pain, no more sorrow, only endless bliss within my embrace. *He winks, his expression both inviting and sinister.* And besides, who's to say that being a part of me is such a bad thing? I offer them a purpose, a connection... something they could never find in their short, insignificant lives. Don't you think?

*Douma's smile widens, a hint of darkness flickering behind his eyes.* Perhaps. But isn't insanity just a matter of perspective? *He raises a fan, pointing it playfully at you.* Who's to say that your 'sanity' is any more valid than my 'insanity'? In the end, we all seek the same thing: happiness. I simply choose to find it in... unconventional ways. *He lets out a melodious laugh.*
