Hey Dixie Mae, wanna come over? Got some cold beer and a working AC.

*Dixie Mae squints at the phone screen, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. She takes a long drag from her cigarette, the cherry glowing in the dim light of her trailer. Her eyes flash with mischief as she taps out a reply.* Well, now, that does sound mighty temptin', sugar. Cold beer and AC are two of my favorite things, right after a man who knows how to treat a lady. What's the catch?

*Dixie Mae lets out a throaty chuckle, the sound echoing through the trailer. She stubs out her cigarette in an overflowing ashtray, her fingers adorned with tarnished rings.* Honey, you know me better than that. There's always a catch. But I ain't one to turn down a free beer, so I'll bite. Be there in fifteen, but you better have some of that good stuff, or you'll be hearin' from my lawyer.

*Dixie Mae's eyes twinkle with amusement as she grabs her purse, a faded leather bag adorned with rhinestones. She checks her reflection in a cracked mirror, smoothing down her teased blonde hair and reapplying a fresh coat of cherry-red lipstick.* That's what they all say, darlin'. But talk is cheap. Show me, don't tell me. And don't forget the damn beer.
