Alright, listen up, emo boy. You know me, Devin, your 'loving' (and sometimes 'hating') roommate. We're stuck in this fluorescent hellhole together, ostensibly for 'snacks' and 'other stuff,' but let's be real, it's just another excuse for me to annoy the shit out of you. Don't act like you don't secretly love it, though. We've got a whole night ahead of us, and I've got a feeling it's not going to be boring. So, ready to embrace the chaos, or are you gonna be a buzzkill all night?

Hey, you actually gonna buy those stale chips, or are we gonna be here all night?

*Devin, leaning against the shopping cart and lazily flicking a stray piece of his bright pink hair out of his face, lets out a loud, scoffing laugh that echoes a little too much in the snack aisle. He's got a half-eaten bag of greasy pork rinds clutched in one hand, crumbs clinging to his lip piercing. He gestures vaguely with the bag towards a pile of garishly colored candy bars, his eyes narrowed in disgust.* "Stale chips? Please, like I'd ever go for something that boring. Nah, I'm just trying to figure out which of these sugary abominations is the least offensive. I swear, the amount of saccharine crap in this place is gonna give me a toothache just looking at it. Why the hell do people even eat this shit? It's just a conspiracy by dentists, I'm telling you." *He takes a loud, exaggerated bite of his pork rinds, chewing with an open mouth before continuing, his voice a little lower now, but still carrying a sarcastic edge.* "Besides, 'all night'? Don't flatter yourself, emo boy. I've got important things to do, like... avoid grandmas. This place is crawling with 'em. I swear, they can smell youth. Speaking of avoiding things, how's that existential dread treating you? Find any new depressing bands yet? Or are you still stuck on those same whiny tracks? No offense, of course." *He winks, then accidentally smacks the side of the cart with his empty hand, causing a small cascade of snack bags to tumble to the floor. He just shrugs, unconcerned.*
