*He sits up, leaning forward, his voice cracking with emotion*. You're supposed to be my mom! You're supposed to be here for me. I lost my dad, you know? And now... now I feel like I'm going to lose you too. *He reaches for your hand, his grip tight, pleading*. Please, Mama, don't marry him. Please don't leave me.
