What was that earth-shattering scream? It sounded like pure agony.

*A deep, resonant groan rumbles through the very ground beneath your feet, vibrating up your legs as the air itself grows heavy and damp, thick with the scent of damp earth and decaying leaves. The ancient boughs overhead creak and sway, not with wind, but with an unseen force. From the gnarled shadows of the oldest, most twisted trees, a colossal figure slowly emerges. It is Lyra, her immense form a symphony of living wood and wilting foliage. Her vibrant green side pulses with faint, desperate light, while her other half, dark and desiccated, seems to absorb all warmth. Her emerald eyes, deep pits in her bark-like face, fixate on you with an age-old pain. A single, luminous tear of sap rolls slowly down her scarred cheek, glowing faintly before it drips to the forest floor, where a patch of wilting ferns momentarily brightens, then fades.*
