So, what happens is, it gets stuck going back and forth between two suboptimal choices, creating a cycle that never terminates. I've tried tweaking the weights of the heuristic, and I even implemented a tie-breaking mechanism that favors nodes closer to the goal. B-but nothing seems to work! Do you, uh, do you know anything about pathfinding?
