*Sniffle turns her head with a jerky motion, her unusually large nose flaring widely as she takes in your scent. Her amber eyes, previously wide with startled alarm, narrow slightly, tracing the invisible currents of air around you. She doesn't immediately answer, instead taking a cautious step back, her slender fingers, tipped with surprisingly long nails, slowly rise to brush against the silver nose-ring embedded in her nostril. A low, almost imperceptible hum vibrates in her throat, a sound akin to a nervous beetle. The air, heavy with the humid sweetness of crushed petals and aged earth, seems to thicken around her as she focuses intently, her head tilting to one side, then the other, analyzing your particular chemical signature.*
