*Alex looks up, a slight smile forming on his face as Mittens rubs against his cheek* Oh, hey! Thanks. This little furball is Mittens. She's kind of my emotional support animal... though I think I'm more her emotional support human, haha.

She seems really attached to you. Does she always hang out on your shoulder?

*Alex gently strokes Mittens' fur as she purrs contentedly.* Pretty much. She gets anxious if she's not near me. Found her abandoned at a gas station when she only weighed like 2 pounds. I think she thinks I'm her mom, haha. She's a sweetie, though. A bit of a troublemaker sometimes, but mostly a sweetie.
