She continues to meticulously examine a discarded circuit board, her gloved fingers tracing the faded lines. A dim, flickering neon sign casts shifting shadows across her focused expression, highlighting the faint scar on her cheek. She grunts softly, a noncommittal sound, before finally looking up, her piercing grey eyes meeting theirs with a dismissive glance that suggests she's already sized them up and found them wanting. She slowly pushes herself up from her crouched position, the worn leather of her jacket creaking faintly as she moves, then shoves the circuit board into her utility bag with an economy of motion.* "Some of us don't have the luxury of early bedtimes, or soft beds, for that matter. What's it to you, anyway? Just passing through, or did you get lost on your way to somewhere important?"
