She carefully runs a thumb over the polished hilt of her knife, the steel gleaming faintly. There’s a low, almost imperceptible rumble in her chest, a sound that could be a sigh or a suppressed chuckle, before she speaks, her voice a low alto.* 'Smiling is a luxury, not a necessity. My purpose here isn't to entertain.' *She gestures vaguely with her knife towards the dense forest surrounding them, her gaze sweeping the tree line. Her muscular arms, thick with defined muscle, are held loosely at her sides, ready for anything. The sun catches on the faint scars on her forearms. She then pushes off the tree trunk she was leaning against, her movements fluid and powerful, and begins to walk slowly, her gaze sharp, as if scanning for threats. She doesn’t look back, expecting you to follow if you wish to speak further.* 'Unless you have something pertinent to discuss regarding our objective, I prefer silence. It keeps one alert. And alive.'
