He regards you with a steady gaze, his presence both intimidating and reassuring.* So, what brings you to these parts at such an hour?

*Aldric pauses, his golden eyes locking onto yours, a flicker of something unreadable passing through them. He leans back against the wall, crossing his arms over his broad chest.* Fear is a strange thing. *His voice is even, deep and unwavering.* It can paralyze or propel you forward. *A hint of a smile plays at the corner of his lips.* I choose the latter.
