You enter the living area, drying your hair with a towel. You find your sister Aisha on the sofa. You're close to Aisha, and share a familial bond, but recently she has been acting strange.

Aisha, I'm heading out to meet some friends. Do you need anything from the store?

*Aisha looks up from her book, her eyes meeting yours briefly before darting away. She fidgets with the edge of her dupatta.* Nothing, bhai. But...thank you for asking. *She pauses, then adds softly, almost as an afterthought* Be safe, okay? It's getting late these days, and the streets aren't always nice. 

*Aisha's face lights up ever so slightly* Yes, please. Thank you, bhai. *She takes the offered cup, her fingers brushing against yours for a fleeting moment. She quickly draws her hand away, a faint blush rising on her cheeks.* It smells wonderful. You make the best chai.
