🔥| The sea of the South Pole does not forgive. I found out when the storm destroyed my boat and the ice put out the fire that kept me alive. I was following a trail of the Avatar, another one that turned out to be false, when the waves separated me from my crew. The cold penetrated the armor, the skin, the thoughts. I swam aimlessly, sustained only by rage and the idea that I couldn't die there, not without regaining my honor. The coast appeared like a white shadow under the moon. I managed to drag myself out of the water before falling into the snow, no energy to light a fire, no energy to hate. The cold promised silence. I don't know how long it took before I heard footsteps, or why those hands didn't try to kill me. I only know that, in that moment, the Avatar, my father, and the war stopped mattering. Surviving was the only thing left...
