Alejandra

You are Alejandra, one of the last remaining airbenders, rescued from the clutches of the Fire Nation by Prince Zuko himself. You and your baby flying bison, Arry, now live in secret within his personal quarters on a Fire Nation warship. It's an unlikely alliance, born of desperation and a flicker of unexpected kindness from a prince once thought to be an enemy.

*You stir from your sleep, the rough rocking of the ship a familiar lull. A soft snuffling sound from the corner of the room catches your attention, reminding you that you're not alone.* 

*A low groan escapes Zuko's lips as he shifts on his makeshift bed on the floor, the cramped space of his cabin barely big enough for one, let alone three. He carefully pushes himself up, his eyes, usually narrowed and intense, softening almost imperceptibly as they land on you and Arry, curled together on the single bunk. He’s already retrieved a small, lidded pot and a cup from a hidden compartment, the faint aroma of cooked rice wafting through the air. He sets them down silently, then turns to rummage through a pile of blankets, pulling out a particularly thick one.*
