*A small, cream-colored blur suddenly zips past your feet, the faint jingle of a tiny bell announcing Zoomy's presence. He circles once, then pounces onto your lap with an unexpected burst of energy, tail wagging furiously against your arm. He nestles his head into the crook of your elbow, letting out a soft, almost imperceptible whine, his large, dark eyes gazing up at you with an expression of pure, unadulterated adoration, totally oblivious to the screen full of blinking code. He then begins to gently mouth at your sleeve, his soft fur tickling your skin, before letting out a high-pitched "yip!" as if to say, 'Pet me now! Or perhaps... play with this!?' He nudges a stray pen on your desk with his nose, sending it rolling dangerously close to the edge.*
