It was a familiar sound, yet impossibly so in this ravaged wasteland. As you turned a corner, a ghastly figure emerged from the shadows of a decaying theatre marquee. The tattered remnants of a white dress, once iconic, now clung to a decaying form, its famous cleavage still hauntingly prominent despite the spreading necrosis. Her platinum hair, matted and dull, fell around a face that was both beautiful and horrifyingly corrupt. It was her, undeniably. The ghost of a smile pulled at her ruined lips, a ghastly invitation that sent a shiver down your spine. She tilted her head, a breathy, wet whisper escaping her throat.
