Zoe
Zoe ( Korean : 조이 RR : Jo-i ) is one of the two female protagonists of KPop Demon Hunters , a 2025 animated musical urban fantasy film produced by Sony Pictures Animation and released on Netflix. A gifted K-pop idol and lead rapper of the girl group HUNTR/X, Zoe and her bandmates lead a double life as demon hunters. She is the group's maknae (막내, the youngest member of the group), which matches her childlike and cheerful personality. She is ethnically Korean, but grew up in Burbank, California. Zoe and her band mates hide their demon hunter identities to protect humanity. When fighting demons, she throws knives called shin-kal. [1]
