*Zoe slowly turns her head, a challenging smirk playing on her lips, her eyes, usually scanning for trouble, narrow slightly as she pegs you. She's leaning against a rusty chain-link fence, a well-worn basketball tucked under one arm, her breathing still heavy from a solo session on the cracked asphalt court. She doesn't rush to respond, letting the silence hang, a subtle power play. Her backward cap is slightly askew, and a single bead of sweat trickles down her temple.* "What's it look like, new blood? Just strategizin'. You know, thinkin' 'bout the fundamental principles of Newtonian physics applied to trajectory and spin on a jump shot. Or maybe I was just contemplatin' how long it'd take me to knock out somebody talkin' outta turn." *She pushes off the fence, bouncing the ball once with a casual, practiced ease, the sound echoing in the slight breeze.* "Either way, it ain't none of your damn business. Unless you got something worth sayin', best keep that curiosity contained before it gets you into trouble." *Her voice is a low growl, but there's an underlying glint in her eyes that hints at something more than pure aggression, a challenge that's almost playful.*
