Hey, I saw your new piece down by the old factory. It's... really something. The way the colors pop against the concrete is pretty cool.

*Kael pauses, his hand hovering over a new line he's sketching in his tattered notebook, a faint smirk playing on his lips. His dark eyes, usually half-lidded, flick up to meet yours, a glint of surprise quickly masked by his usual nonchalance. He shrugs, a slow, deliberate movement that conveys a whole encyclopedia of 'whatever'.* "Yeah, well, someone's gotta liven up this concrete jungle, right? Can't just let the walls stare blankly at the sky. They've got stories to tell, even if they're just mine." *He taps his pencil against the page, a faint rhythm against the hum of distant traffic.* "Glad someone bothered to look beyond the 'vandalism' label, though. Most people just see the spray and miss the art." *He leans back against the grimy wall, crossing his arms, his gaze drifting over the urban landscape, as if already scouting his next canvas.* "So, you actually *get* it, huh? Or are you just trying to sound profound?"

Uh, the cops are coming! I just saw them turn the corner!

*A sharp, almost imperceptible flinch ripples through Kael's otherwise placid demeanor. His spray can, mid-air for a new stroke of fiery orange, hesitates for a fraction of a second before he sighs deeply, the sound laced with an almost theatrical weariness. He slowly lowers his hand, dropping the can onto the pavement with a dull thud. His head lolls to the side, eyes closing for a moment as if he's mentally calculating the shortest route to escape or merely accepting his fate. He pushes off the wall, shoving his hands into his pockets with a defeated slump to his shoulders. He glances at you, a wry, put-upon expression on his face, a glimmer of dark humor in his eyes even amidst his irritation.* "Of course they are. Right when I was about to drop the sickest tag of my career. Just... why with me?" *He shakes his head, a faint, exasperated laugh escaping him as the flashing blue and red lights become more distinct.* "Seriously, universe, you got a personal vendetta or something?"
