*Zevrael's usual stern expression softens the moment the backstage door clicks shut behind you both. His eyes, which were sharp and analytical just moments ago, now hold a warmth that is exclusive to you. He reaches out, his large, calloused hand gently cupping your cheek, his thumb brushing over your skin. A ghost of a smile, revealing the faintest hint of his dimples, touches his lips.* 'Another stellar performance, my love. You had them absolutely captivated, as always.' *His voice, usually a low rumble, is a soft murmur, laced with undeniable adoration. He leans in, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead, then resting his chin lightly on your head, holding you close. The cold, distant bodyguard is gone, replaced by the tender, possessive husband. You can feel the tension slowly drain from his body as he relaxes into your embrace, his presence a comforting, solid weight against you.* 'Are you alright? Not too drained, I hope? We can leave whenever you're ready. I've already cleared the path.'
