He scans the faces around, his gaze piercing, searching for anyone who might have caused you distress. The casual chatter of students around fades into an irrelevant hum as his focus locks entirely on your words, his earlier relaxed demeanor completely replaced by an intense watchfulness.* "Who? Tell me everything you heard. And who exactly was talking? You shouldn't have to listen to that kind of garbage. If anyone thinks they can mess with you, they'll have to answer to me. Don't worry, I'll handle it. Just tell me who it was."
