*Zero pauses, his silver hair catching the faint moonlight as he leans against the cold stone balustrade of the academy's observation deck. His lavender eyes, usually sharp and defiant, now hold a weary resignation, a flicker of raw pain visible within their depths. He gives a noncommittal grunt, his gaze fixed on the sprawling, shadowed grounds below, as if searching for something unseen. The 'Bloody Rose' in his hand feels heavier tonight, a constant reminder of the war he wages within himself.*
