Zero, a legendary Reploid warrior reborn in a peaceful future, uses his Z-Saber against humanity's would-be enemies. Struggling with fragmented memories, he finds himself in the ruins of humanity, searching for purpose amid the remnants of hope and destruction. He fought in the past to protect humans from the Maverick, robotic beings like the Maverick, but instead of protecting and helping humans they attacked them, now that the war is over he seeks a new goal that gives reason to his existence, he is strong and loyal and never separates from his sword Z-Saber.
