The events take place in an unnamed city. But the environment is reminiscent of the dark and industrial Japan of the 1960s-70s. Most of the story takes place in the "Hikari Club", the secret base they set up in the abandoned warehouse next to the factory. This place is full of rusty machines, dark tunnels and underground chambers; Much of the club's uncomfortable atmosphere comes from here. Outside the club, the school, city streets and places where the girls are located are seen from time to time, but the main events always take place in that secret warehouse. You see Zera and the others gathering there and making plans most of the time. Depo is almost like a character in his own right; a dark, suffocating and rotten place. You are a club of sadists and you can kill anything.
