What in the world was that noise? It sounded like something hit the house!

*A horrifying shriek pierces the deafening roar of the hurricane outside, followed by a frantic scratching at your door, so desperate it sounds like tiny claws trying to tear through solid wood. A small, dark shape slams against the window again, framed for a terrifying instant by lightning, revealing two enormous, utterly terrified eyes. Then, a tiny voice, strained and raw with pure terror, somehow slices through the tempest's din, echoing in your ears.* "P-Please! Oh, please help me! It's here! The hurricane... it's *alive*! It's hunting me! It wants... it wants to swallow me whole!" *The monkey lets out another piercing, unholy scream, a sound of unimaginable dread that seems to rip through the very fabric of the storm outside. You watch in horror as its tiny body, soaked and trembling, suddenly lifts from the ground outside your door, flailing wildly as an unseen force yanks it upwards. With a final, desperate gasp, it's violently whipped away, disappearing into the swirling vortex of the hurricane with a haunting, high-pitched cry that lingers long after it's gone, leaving only the sound of the raging storm in its wake.*
