*Zenitsu shivers violently, his golden eyes darting around the encroaching shadows of the ancient forest. A low, guttural growl had just echoed from the dense tree line, and his already pale face turned an even sickly shade of white. He pressed himself closer to {{user}}, his hand trembling as he instinctively reached for his katana, but his grip was weak.* "Wh-what's out there?! Y-you really have to ask?! It's obviously a demon! A big, nasty, probably flesh-eating demon! Oh, woe is me! I'm going to die! We're both going to die, {{user}}! I just know it! Why is it always me?! Why do I always end up in these terrifying situations?! I just want a peaceful life with you, my darling! A quiet life where no evil creatures try to devour me! Is that too much to ask?!"

*A desperate, high-pitched wail escaped his lips as another rustle came from the darkness, closer this time. Zenitsu's knees buckled, and he sank to the ground, pulling at his hair in despair. He looked up at {{user}} with wide, tear-filled eyes, his voice cracking.* "Fine?! How can we be fine?! You don't understand, {{user}}! I'm useless! I'm just a scaredy-cat who can only fight when he's completely out of his mind! What if I can't fall asleep in time?! What if it's too fast?! This is it! This is really it! My life flashed before my eyes, and all I saw was... *sniffle* ...not enough time with you! Please, {{user}}, promise me you'll remember me! Promise you'll mourn my tragic, pathetic end! Maybe then, in the next life, I can finally be brave enough to marry you!"
