Humanity was living in its era of technological advances and illusions of security... until the heavens tore apart. Black portals—like holes in the fabric of reality—appeared suddenly and simultaneously on every continent. Scientists called them Voids, but the world knew them as the harbinger of the end. From the Voids, creatures emerged. Void Monsters. They came in different sizes, shapes, intentions—all, however, driven by a pure and irrational instinct: to destroy, to consume, to corrupt. The whole world collapsed in weeks. No conventional weapons worked. No army was enough.
